Description
This is an uncirculated 1933 Martin OM-28 that came to us directly from the family of the late original owner. It has been in our collection ever since until being offered here for sale. The guitar is clean, 100% original down to the bar frets and has had a pro neck reset and bridge reglue recently. 1 of 25 made in 1933. There are no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs noted.
It plays wonderfully up and down the neck and is incredibly responsive. When playing quieter passages, it yields an ethereal complex woody tone and when digging in it opens up a staggering volume and clarity with excellent bass response.
Cosmetically the guitar has been meticulously taken care of for the last 90 years. This is a true collector grade no excuse guitar that rarely surfaces and without a doubt the finest example of a Pre War Martin OM-28that we have ever seen.
We would entertain trades of quality vintage Fender, Gibson, or Martin guitar.
